From CHROME’s business-focused AXCEL collection, two new models have arrived for the 2026 Fall/Winter season: the AXCEL TOTE MESSENGER SM and AXCEL TOTE MESSENGER MD.
The new lineup is available in two sizes: the 16L SM size and 23L MD size.
These versatile bags can be carried by hand like a tote bag, while also offering the option to carry them over the shoulder or in a messenger-style setup.
In addition to the durability CHROME is known for, they feature a range of practical storage options for business use, including a dedicated laptop pocket, bottle pockets, and a fully waterproof pocket.

What Is CHROME’s Business-Focused AXCEL Collection?
The AXCEL collection is a relatively new CHROME lineup that was introduced for the 2025 Fall/Winter season.
CHROME has traditionally been known for messenger bags, rugged backpacks, and other products inspired by street and cycling culture.
The AXCEL collection, however, takes a slightly different approach, featuring a more refined and formal design that fits naturally into business environments.
Although the collection has only been around for about a year, we’ve already received plenty of positive feedback at our store, including comments such as:

Made with High-Strength 1680-Denier Ballistic Nylon
One of the key features of the AXCEL collection is its main material.
Rather than using standard nylon, CHROME has chosen 1680-denier ballistic nylon.
Compared with the standard nylon commonly used by CHROME, this material offers a very high level of strength and is designed for excellent durability.
At the same time, the surface has a subtle sheen, giving the bags a refined appearance that avoids looking overly casual despite the tough nature of the material.
This makes the AXCEL collection suitable not only for everyday use, but also for commuting and business situations.
A Fully Waterproof Pocket Shared Across the AXCEL Collection
Another major feature shared across the AXCEL collection is the fully waterproof pocket.

Main Compartment
The main compartment is secured with a zipper.
Inside, multiple pockets are arranged to help you organize and store the items you need for work and business.
Padded Laptop Pocket & Tablet Pocket
A padded laptop pocket is located along the back side of the main compartment.
The inside is lined with fleece material, providing an added layer of protection when storing your laptop.
We tested the bag with a 14-inch laptop, and it fit comfortably with plenty of room to spare.
Next to the laptop pocket, there is also another pocket that is convenient for storing a tablet or similar device.

Button Closures Allow the Opening to Expand
There are buttons located at both ends of the zipper on the main compartment.
By unfastening these buttons, you can open the top of the bag even wider.

Large Rear Pocket + Fully Waterproof Pocket
The back of the bag features a large storage pocket.
This simple pocket has no zipper or button closure, making it convenient for storing documents and other items that you want to access quickly.

Removable Fully Waterproof Pocket
Inside the rear pocket, you’ll find the fully waterproof pocket that is one of the signature features of the AXCEL collection.
It is secured with Velcro and can be easily removed when needed.
