Today, I want to introduce the WARSAW 30L PACK from the American bag brand CHROME!
The popular backpack “WARSAW MEDIUM” from CHROME has been updated for the 2024 Fall/Winter season, making it even more user-friendly with its new release!
The CHROME WARSAW series includes professional models like the “WARSAW 2.0” and has previously offered sizes in 55L, 25L, and 18L. This time, the medium size “WARSAW MEDIUM” has been updated and newly released!
The new model is more user-friendly in various aspects such as capacity and storage, and I would like to introduce the “WARSAW 30L PACK” while comparing it with the old model.

The appearance and size haven’t changed much, but the capacity has increased by 5L!
Despite the size increase, the new model is lighter. Depending on the material, it’s about 200g lighter when compared to the basic nylon material! This is because the waterproof material inside has been updated, making it ‘lighter and softer’, maintaining waterproofness while reducing weight!
Completely Waterproof
The WARSAW is completely waterproof thanks to the water-repellent surface and the “Tarpaulin” material often used by CHROME, which is lined inside to prevent water from seeping in!
However, in the old WARSAW model, gaps appeared at the corners when the flap was down, allowing water to get in unless folded inside.
In the new model, the corners naturally fold in when the flap is down, eliminating this issue and improving waterproofness!
Storage Capacity
Next, let’s talk about storage capacity.
When you open the flap, you’ll find an organizer on the front! This organizer features a large pocket and a new magnet-closure pocket that wasn’t available in the old model!
The flap closure has also been updated, making it easier to open with less effort compared to the previous version!
Additionally, there’s a horizontally long pocket hidden by a belt at the lower front.
The main storage space remains simple, with no pockets, just like the old model.
However, in the old model, you could detach the Velcro to create a two-layer structure, but in the new model, this feature has been sewn shut and is no longer available.
Furthermore, both sides feature bottle pockets, and there’s a zippered pocket on one side!
In the old model, there was no pocket on the lower front, and there were one Velcro and one zippered pocket on the sides, plus one zippered secret pocket on the bottom. The storage pockets have been updated in the new model.
Additional Storage
Although the new model no longer has a pocket at the bottom, it now includes straps where you can secure a jacket or other items!
These straps can be stored away when not in use!
Additionally, the WARSAW series was originally designed for messengers, so it can carry items that don’t fit in the bag, like cardboard boxes!
① Unclip the side straps
② Extend the straps
③ Place the item between the flap and the bag
④ Connect the ends of the straps
⑤ Tighten securely
⑥ Close the flap
This way, you can stably carry large items! In the old model, the excess straps were too long and got in the way, but in the new model, they can be easily tidied up with the included Velcro, so they don’t get in the way. This feature is also available on the lower straps.
Shoulder Strap
Like the old model, the shape has changed, but you can still attach CHROME pouches to the shoulder strap!
The chest strap is also included, as in the old model, and it can now be detached with less effort!
